About

Welcome to MyBadPad, a FUN site dedicated to the lilypad you call home.

Your home is your sanctuary, the heart of your family and, of course, your fun zone. This means that you want your home to be inviting, relaxing and a place that you can let loose and go wild.

Join us at My Bad Pad, as we share some helpful home tips on how to fix it up, go “green”, beautify, accessorize and deck it out with some cool gizmos and gadgets.

From the roof to the basement, inside and out, we offer a ton of ideas to make your home look, feel, and function better. But watch out for our quirky side because we’ve got some fun stuff in store for you too.

We have 3 really relentless and reckless writers (who enjoy alliteration) to help you get your bad on and maybe make you look at your home from a new point of view.

MyBadPad Team:

Natalie Downing -
Born and raised in the Great White North, Natalie is currently a writer for My Bad Pad. She has been active in blogging and social media for just under two years but has already written for many websites in that short time. Always one to try something new, she has written on a wide variety of topics but has a strong passion for home, travel and fashion. She is a cat person who loves music, trying new food and wasting her time stumbling the interwebs. You can usually find her sleuthing the web under her alias, Natitude.

Gwen McIntyre -
Gwen has been writing in one form or another since she learned how to scribble her first note on a piece of paper. She upgraded to online blogging a couple of years ago and has written for several websites since then. Not one to do anything halfway, she immersed herself in Social Media over a year ago and her family has been trying to pull her back (at least long enough to cook dinner) ever since. You can find Gwen on a variety of Social Networking sites under the pseudonym, GemStar38. And if she knew how much she was going to LOVE SM when she started the whole process, she would have picked a better name ;)

David Ramsey -
David is a newcomer to online blogging but has a history of writing interesting, insightful notes on the history of chewing gum and can often be found experimenting with different flavors. His dog, Roxy, first turned him onto the intricacies of chewing gum when she accidentally ate an entire package of Hubba Bubba at once. But that’s a different story.
